Susan is an occupational therapist who graduated from University of Ulster (United Kingdom) with a Bachelor of Science (with honors) in Occupational Therapy. She is registered with the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) and has been a practicing Occupational Therapist in Singapore for over 5 years.

Susan has practiced in a variety of both adult and paediatric settings including stroke rehabilitation, orthopaedic rehabilitation, general medical and sub-acute therapy and most recently in a local SPED school. By combining her knowledge and skills gained from adult services with paediatric intervention, Susan uses a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy, she strongly believes in the value of a multi-disciplinary approach for better client outcomes.

Susan is experienced in providing individualised one-to-one treatment, group therapy, as well as school-based consultation and intervention for children and adolescents. These sessions are tailored for individuals with a wide range of conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Sensory Processing Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorders, Dyspraxia, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), Genetic Disorders, as well as children with mild, moderate and severe learning disabilities.

Susan has worked with a wide range of children dealing with sensory processing difficulties and has a keen interest in the link between sensory processing and one’s ability to participate in everyday activities. She is currently in the process of completing her certificate in sensory integration with University of Southern California Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy.

Susan also has experience in providing clinical supervision to practicing Occupational Therapists who are AHPC conditional registrants.

Outside of work Susan enjoys all things active, including running, going to the gym and hiking with friends.
