Hellows is a fully registered Speech and Language Therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore, with over 13 years of experience supporting children and families across early intervention programmes, preschools, special education schools, private practice, and multidisciplinary clinics. She has extensive experience assessing and providing intervention for children with a wide range of developmental needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental language disorder, global developmental delay, speech sound disorders, and complex communication needs. Her clinical interests include speech and language development, social communication, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), literacy, and paediatric feeding.

Hellows believes that meaningful therapy begins with understanding each child's unique strengths and needs. She is passionate about providing individualised, evidence-based intervention that is functional, engaging, and relevant to everyday life. She works closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop collaborative intervention plans and empower caregivers with practical strategies that support communication beyond the therapy room.

Committed to lifelong learning, Hellows regularly participates in professional development to ensure her clinical practice reflects current evidence and best practices. She is also an AHPC-approved clinical supervisor and has supervised speech therapists and student clinicians from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Curtin University, and Flinders University. She enjoys mentoring clinicians, sharing knowledge, and supporting the growth of the profession through clinical supervision and education.
